Steven gives his time 5 months out of each year to help facilitate a local charity he co-founded for the local Rotary Club called the Beaumont Spirit Run, whereby proceeds are given back (in the form of grants) to qualified applicant students and teachers in the Beaumont Unified School District. 2018 represents the 9th year of the event. Steven volunteers at his home Church regularly and loves to volunteer annually with WinterWish charities. Steven also supports events with the Boys & Girls Club of the San Gorgonio Pass and Cherry Valley Brethren Preschools.
Steven started in the financial services industry with an insurance license in 2003 and securities registration in 2004. Going to work fulltime for Waddell & Reed in Riverside in 2008, he began to understand that investors needed a more holistic approach to life planning. Steven moved his personal practice to ING Financial Partners (now Voya Financial Advisors, Inc) to work as an independent representative of the national broker-dealer. Steven participates in continuing education for IRAs, annuities, Social Security, and the changing face of American retirement. Remaining relevant on current issues and education are career-long ambitions for Steven. Steven holds Series 6,63,65,7 securities registrations.

I am 20 years married to my best friend Lisa. Together, we have 2 teenage boys, Kevin and Nathan. We both work in a professional career; she is an accountant by profession and licensing. We travel in the Summer months and follow MLS soccer during the year. We adopted a stray dog named Joey and he travels with us on vacations. I grew up in the 1970’s playing recreational soccer and eventually burned out. That transitioned 25 years later into coaching our 2 boys through 8 years of soccer. Our youngest son continues to play developmental soccer for an Inland Empire soccer club.I grew up riding motorcycles in a family that raced motorcycles in the CA desert. I am the youngest son in the family and did very little competitive racing, but the love for the sport lives in me. I continue to ride a dual sport (CA-licensed dirt/street motorcycle) with friends and riders I’ve met locally. A good riding day means 100-200 miles in mostly dirt/some pavement.
